The Plaistow Area Commerce Exchange (PACE) held its 23rd Annual Dinner and Auction on April 14th at the Granite Rose in Hampstead. The proceeds from this annual event will be used to award scholarships to graduating seniors from Timberlane High School, Sanborn Regional and an East Hampstead/Hampstead student attending Pinkerton Academy and to support events and activities that benefit the local PACE communities. At this year’s dinner, PACE recognized Jane Dichard as “Business Person of the Year”. Jane recently retired from Region 10 Community Support Services, Inc. where she served as Executive Director and held various management positions throughout her 25 years of employment. Region 10 (currently changing its name to Community Crossroads) is a non profit agency that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders and offers support to their families. Jane has represented the agency as a PACE member for many years and has served on the PACE board. Since 1985, PACE, a non profit organization serving the needs of business entrepreneurs and professionals in the greater Plaistow Area, has been promoting prosperous communities, enhanced communication and a spirit of cooperation to benefit all.
