The son of Rose Latour Place of Biloxi, Miss. and the late George A. Place Sr. He is predeceased by his sister, Eva Stilson. He leaves his wife of 35 yrs, Barbara (Pierce) Place of Biloxi, Miss.; daughter, Jennifer and husband David Johnson of Hooksett, N.H., and a son, Eric Place and his girlfriend Lily of Biloxi, Miss.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Terry and his wife Linda Place of Biloxi, MS., Thomas (Joe) and his wife Debbie Place of Epping,N.H.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Lee, N.H. — James Roy Foster, Jr., 88, formerly of Framingham and Wellfleet, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Kirkwood Corners in Lee, N.H. after an extensive illness. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Winona Mileham Foster of 49 years. He is survived by his brother, William B. Foster of Wellfleet; his three daughters, Valerie Piotrowicz of Kirkland, Wash., Lianna Foster of Wellfleet, and Melanie Robert and her husband Damian Joseph Robert of Epping, N.H.; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Piotrowicz of Washington, Damian J. Robert of Marlboro, Steven Foster Robert, Jennifer Pauline Robert and Ashley Anne Robert of Epping; a great granddaughter, Harley James Leopold of Washington.
