Team GBC "Thinks Pink"


---- — Team GBC (Gymnastics at Brentwood Commons) in Brentwood, will be competing in the 2013 Pink Invitational gymnastics meet will be competing in the 2013 Pink Invitational gymnastics meet in Philadelphia. This is a 3-day competition and outreach event that unites gymnasts in a sanctioned Junior Olympic meet where athletes compete in a sport that they love while supporting breast cancer initiatives and learning about the importance of lifelong wellness.

Team GBC is will also be participating in the Pink Invitational “Above and Beyond Team Challenge” to help raise money for the Unite for HER Foundation. Unite for HER makes a positive difference in the lives of women and girls by supporting and providing breast cancer and wellness programs that educate, empower, and restore.

Team GBC kicked off the Above and Beyond Team Challenge with a Think PINK Bake Sale during their recently held Harvest Meet, raising over $260 for the Unite for HER Foundation. Team families came together to help bake delicious goodies, donate beverages, and volunteer their time at the gym selling treats. Team GBC has several more fundraising events planned before the Pink Invitational to help raise money for Unite for HER Foundation. http://uniteforher.org/
