— The Atkinson Garden Club (AGC) is pleased to recognize the following students from Atkinson Academy in the National Garden Club, Inc.'s Poetry and Poster Contest: Smokey Bear / Woodsy Owl Poster Contest: from left, Grade 1: Colby Mason; Grade 5: Erin O'Neill; Grade 5: Hannah Clair Luscomb. Susan Miner, AGC youth committee chairman, presented these students with a certificate of participation, gift card to Barnes and Noble, Smokey Bear bookmark, and magnet. The posters from these students have been forwarded to the NH Federation of Garden Clubs for further judging.
