Pollard Greenhouse

Carriage Towne News

---- — Bryce Whittaker, pictured above, a member of Plaistow Boy Scout Troop 18, works on his Eagle Scout Project with great expectations to the future. The labor of love is an 18' x 8' greenhouse, located at the rear of Pollard Elementary School in Plaistow. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the school PTA, Pollard teachers, the Lions and Knights of Columbus, Home Depot, and many others, Bryce has raised over $5,000 for this project. This is by far the largest budget for an Eagle Scout project in Troop 18 history, at a cost of $4,750, plus supplies. Bryce is the son of Susan and Craig Whittaker. (CTN photo by Larry Kennedy)
