---- — Hannah Elizabeth Tunstall of Exeter was graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Dietetics - BS from James Madison University during commencement exercises on December 14, 2013.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean’s List for Fall 2013: Gina Kliska of Epping, Brian Campbell of Exeter, and Mark Lamothe of Raymond.

Elizabeth Biron of Brentwood completed a week long service trip to Guatemala as part of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine’s International Service Trips, in conjunction with Partners in Development (PID) of Ipswich, Mass. In Guatemala, four faculty and staff members and a 24-member student team volunteered in the village of Desierto and at a local health clinic a few miles from the village. Nursing students helped to staff the medical clinic –running the lab, doing triage, assessing and caring for patients, screening children for various afflictions, and providing health education to adults in the clinic and children at the local school. Other students helped to build a new home for a family. The group also ran a children’s program and distributed humanitarian supplies and medicine. Saint Joseph’s College has sent volunteer teams to Guatemala for the past ten years. Biron is a nursing student at the college.

Kristin Palladino of Kensington was named to the Dean’s List at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for the fall semester.

Endicott College is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2013 semester: Shannon Elaine Maguire, a Senior majoring in English, daughter of Mark and Audrey Maguire of Danville; and Victoria Lee O’Meara, a Sophomore majoring in Liberal Studies/Education, daughter of Stephen and Sandra O’Meara of Plaistow.

Sara Ward, a fourth-year student from Exeter, has been named to the fall 2013 Dean’s List at St. Bonaventure University. Ward’s major is Journalism-Mass communication.

Ithaca College congratulates more than 1,400 students who made the Dean’s list in the fall 2013 semester. Local students honored include: Harriett DiNapoli of Exeter and Michaela Plumer of Exeter.

Brian MacHarrie of Sandown has been named to the UMass Dartmouth Fall 2013 Dean’s List in recognition of earning a semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher of a possible 4.0.

The following hometown residents were named to the Dean’s List during the fall 2013 semester at Salve Regina University: Amanda Bailey of Newton, a junior majoring in Administration of Justice; Shannon Marro of Exeter, a senior majoring in Nursing; Jordan Wells of Exeter, a senior majoring in Administration of Justice; Tyler Whittum of East Kingston, a sophomore majoring in English Communications.

Christie Cole, a freshman Communication major of Epping, was among more than 1,900 students from Coastal Carolina University who made the Fall 2013 Dean’s List.

The following local residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University Dean’s List for the Fall 2013 semester: Danielle Bernier, resident of Sandown, majoring in Anthropology/Sociology; Neil Hallock, resident of Newton, majoring in Computer Science; Michael Field, resident of Brentwood, majoring in International Business; and Emma Keane, resident of Fremont, majoring in International Business.

Joshua Tubbs, a resident of Sandown, has been named to the Champlain College President’s List as a full-time student achieving a Fall 2013 semester grade point average of 4.0. Tubbs is majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.

The following area residents were named to the Dean’s List at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2013 semester: Erik Benotti of Exeter, Cara DeShaw of Danville, Chelsea Morin of Raymond, Taylor Nicholson of Exeter, Katelyn Thompson of Brentwood, and Taylor Trahan of Sandown.
