On October 17, Danville Girl Scout Troop 13914 met at the Danville Community Center with women who are active in local and state government. The scouts spent time talking to Annmarie Inman, Danville Selectman; Dottie Billbrough, current librarian and longtime resident; Chris Tracy, Town Clerk; Betsy Sanders, NH State Representative from Danville; and Doreen Moore, Deputy Town Clerk as well as a longtime resident and former town clerk. The girls learned about the new voter ID process, as well as the new booths the town now has. They also had a chance to hear about changes in the town of Danville over the years, how being an active citizen is important, and how women from all walks of life can be active in government and citizenship.
