Congratulations to Lexie Basiliere of Kingston! Lexie was recently named one of twenty finalists from New Hampshire in the 2011 Wendy's High School Heisman Award Program. This award places Lexie among the top students in the nation. The Wendy's High School Heisman is awarded in recognition of outstanding achievements in Athletics, Academics and Leadership. Lexie is a senior at Sanborn Regional High School. Great job Lexie!
Atkinson resident Benjamin Onett has accepted a scholarship offer from Temple University. He was recruited to Temple by Scott Loeffler, the Offensive Coordinator who coached at Michigan. Onett had thirteen offers including Cincinnati JMU, VMI, Temple, Buffalo, and Marshall, and garnered interest from Purdue, Arkansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Purdue, NC State, and UNC. The decision was made based on a combination of academics, ability to start as a freshman and location. Onett states that he is grateful to his local coaches for their support and knows their belief in him helped motivate him to take it to the next level.

Alexander is the son of Heidi and Kevin Greaney of Kingston. Conan S. Sang, grade 12, of Brentwood, earned High Honors. Conan is the son of Mr. Fred Sang and Mrs. Jennifer Fan. Marc L. Steele, grade 10, of Danville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Steele, earned Honors. Hannah E. Keane, grade 10, of Fremont, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Keane, earned Honors.
Sgt. Shane S. Bailey, USMC, of Kingston, son of Arnold W. Bailey of Kingston, was awarded a Associate in Applied Science degree from Thomas Edison State College.
